Peachbunny, the mascot and muse of Kitty Jones, loves to eat grass. He's an indoor guy with roots in the mean community gardens of NYC -- I'm pretty sure he's from the feral community living in the park across the street from my building. We made this kitty grass planter for two reasons: to satisfy a cat's innate desire for green, chlorophyll-packed fiber and an apartment dweller's desperate need to infuse a bit of nature into their urban habitat. Its a terrarium-esque kitty grass planter that looks great solo, and even better in a cluster.

The unbreakable, food-grade PET plastic jar is 5.25 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter. Each kit includes a packet of food-grade wheatgrass seeds. Seeds germinate in 3-5 days and each planting lasts up to 4-6 weeks, with attention (possibly longer if you have a green thumb). Trim to 3-4 inches tall and water regularly.
